After the overwhelming success of the last guest performance in the newly opened Metronom Theater, the musical “Der Geist der Weihnacht”, based on the famous story "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, will return to Oberhausen in 2025. Immerse yourself once again this year in 19th century London and experience the acclaimed musical “Der Geist der Weihnacht”, which will celebrate its 25th stage anniversary next year. “Der Geist der Weihnacht” tells the story of the stingy Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited on Christmas night by the ghost of his deceased, equally stingy friend Marley. This encounter leads him on an emotional journey that causes him to question his life and his values. “Der Geist der Weihnacht” brings the message of charity, hope and the true meaning of Christmas to life on stage.
