Accompanied by rousing live music and vocals with boleros, tangos and popular Mexican songs, this masterpiece is a feast for all the senses!

Frida, accompanied by death all her life, experienced her life in its full intensity: whether moments flooded with rays of sunshine or instances as gloomy as the darkest night. Her story has fascinated the whole world and continues to do so today. Through movement and artistic performance, Enrique Gasa Valga makes Frida's indomitable spirit, her passion, her intensity and her pain visible. For his dance theater, Valga was awarded the Austrian music theater prize, the "Golden Schikaneder", for the best ballet production of the 2011/12 season.
