Sandy Mölling made her breakthrough in 2001 as a founding member of the No Angels, the most successful girl group in continental Europe.

She made her musical debut in 2010 as an angel in *A Christmas Carol*. This was followed by numerous leading roles in renowned productions, including Eliza Doolittle in *My Fair Lady* (Bad Hersfeld Festival 2016/17, Audience Award for Most Popular Actress), Mary Magdalene in “Jesus Christ Superstar” (Vereinigte Bühnen Wien), Roxy Hart in “Chicago,” Sally Bowles in “Cabaret,” the Narrator in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and the title role in “The Popeess.”

In addition to her musical theater career, she is also active as an actress and on TV. In 2021, she received the American Filmatic Arts Award for Best Actress for her leading role in the U.S. short film “The Decipio.” She has also hosted shows such as “The Dome” and the “Mc-Chart Show,” and has appeared on programs like “Let’s Dance” and “The Masked Singer.”

Verena Mackenberg completed her training at the University of Performing Arts and Music in Vienna and at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen.

Since then, she has appeared as a versatile singer and performer in numerous shows, such as “ABBA Review – A Tribute to ABBA,” and has made television appearances on ZDF’s “Traumschiff,” “Kreuzfahrt ins Glück,” and as a judge on the SAT.1 show “All Together Now,” among others.

On the musical theater stage, she has appeared in productions such as “High Fidelity,” “Kiss Me, Kate,” “Evita,” “Les Misérables,” and “The Full Monty.” In the musical “Die Päpstin,” she played both the title role and the role of Marioza in Hameln and Fulda.

A native of Gelsenkirchen, he began his artistic career as a studio singer on projects at the POP Academy in Cologne, as well as a composer and lyricist for short film scores. He completed his training in singing, acting, and dance under renowned instructors in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The beginning of his musical theater career was marked, among other things, by his role as Gerold in the world premiere of the musical “Die Päpstin.” Through roles such as Karl Wagner in the world premiere of “Kolpings Traum,” Helmut Rahn in the world premiere of “Das Wunder von Bern,” Axel Staudach in “Ich war noch niemals in New York,” the Balladeer in the Stephen Sondheim musical “Assassins,” Riff in “West Side Story,” Alex in “Die Königs vom Kiez” at the Schmidt Theater, and the Shadow Man in “Ludwig²,” he established himself as a fixture on the German musical theater scene. In late 2021, he wowed audiences in the role of the Inspector at the world premiere of the musical “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” directed by Gil Mehmert, at the Stadttheater Fürth.

In the 2022 world premiere of the Chris de Burgh musical “Robin Hood,” he appeared on stage as Will Scarlett, Robin of Loxley, and Guy of Gisbourne. In 2023, he starred as Sam Wheat in the musical “Ghost,” before returning to “Robin Hood” from 2023 to 2025.

In *Die Päpstin*, he played Gerold in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, he wowed audiences on the tour of the musical “Elisabeth” as Emperor Franz Joseph and reprised this role in 2026 during a major tour of China, before taking on the role of Ole Peters in the world premiere of the musical “Der Schimmelreiter” in Fulda in the summer of 2026.

Two years ago, he released his debut indie pop album, “Universum regelt,” which has garnered over 2 million streams to date.

At just 11 years old, Thomas Hohler was already performing in “Les Misérables.”

Even before graduating from high school, he won the national title at “Jugend musiziert” and received an encouragement award at the “Bundeswettbewerb Gesang” in Berlin, and then began his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts.

His first major role was the title role of d’Artagnan in “The Three Musketeers” in Stuttgart. This was followed by roles in “Hair,” “Jesus Christ Superstar,” Hape Kerkeling’s “Kein Pardon,” Michael Bully Herbig’s “Schuh des Manitu,” “Shrek,” “Flashdance,” “The Last 5 Years,” “Spamalot,” and “Rebecca,” among others.  

In “Elisabeth,” he appeared as Crown Prince Rudolf and as Luigi Lucheni on tour in Germany and Shanghai. He was the first Belgian actor to play Rudolf in Antwerp. He played Emanuel Schikaneder and Wolfgang Mozart in “Mozart!” in Duisburg and Shanghai. He also appeared on stage as the musician Tobi in “Wahnsinn! – Das Musical” (Wolfgang Petry), as Dimitri in “Anastasia,” and as Sam Wheat in “GHOST – A Message from Sam.” He played Wilhelm Jerusalem in the world premiere of the musical “Goethe!” and the antagonist Guy von Gisbourne in “Robin Hood,” Robin Blake in Kunze & Levay’s “Lady Bess” at the Theater St. Gallen, and Anastasius in “Die Päpstin.”

He has appeared as Mark Cohen in “Rent,” Marius in “Les Misérables,” and Rob Cole in “The Physician” (Macías/Amador), as well as Matteo in the world premiere of “HELLO! AGAIN?” (Howard Carpendale), written by Thomas Herrmanns. Most recently, Thomas took on the title role in the German premiere of “Mrs. Doubtfire.”

André Bauer was born in Görlitz and studied voice at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. This was followed by numerous engagements throughout the German-speaking world, featuring a diverse repertoire. His roles include Freddy (“My Fair Lady”), Berger and Woof (“Hair”), Phoebus (“The Hunchback of Notre Dame”), Marius (“Les Misérables”), Chris (“Miss Saigon”), Leopold Mozart (“Mozart!”), Emperor Franz Joseph (“Elisabeth”), Frank Crawley (“Rebecca”), Pilate (“Jesus Christ Superstar”), Emile de Becque (“South Pacific”), and Professor Callahan (“Legally Blonde”).

Other engagements have taken him to venues including the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, the Stadttheater St. Gallen, the Staatstheater , the Musicalfrühling Gmunden, the Ronacher in Vienna, the Admiralspalast in Berlin, the Schlossfestspiele Langenlois, as well as on international tour to Japan and China. He has also appeared in several world premieres, including “Matterhorn,” “Don Camillo and Peppone,” “Lady Bess,” and “Einstein—A Matter of Time.”

His most recent roles include “The Pope” in Fulda and “Rudolf—The Last Kiss” in Füssen.

After completing her studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, Anke Fiedler played, among other roles, Amneris in the German premiere of the Elton John musical “Aida” at the Colosseum in Essen and, in 2006, Yitzhak in the rock musical “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” in Vienna.

She was a soloist in “Qi” at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin and played Titania in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for five years. Maureen in “Rent” was one of her signature roles at the Ettlingen Castle Festival. Anke played many major roles at the Renaissancetheater Berlin, such as Lady Chiltern in “An Ideal Husband” and June Carter in “Hello, I’m Johnny Cash.” In addition, Anke played the role of Magenta inRocky Horror Showat Staatstheater for a long time. She played Lioba in “Bonifatius,” Nathalie in “Liebeslügen,” and Brunhild in “Der Ring.” She appeared, among other roles, as Marioza and as the Pope in the musical “Die Päpstin” in Fulda, Füssen, Munich, and Hamelin; as Josiane Darnley in “Der Mann mit dem Lachen” at the Staatsoperette Dresden; and in the title role of “Der Kuss der Spinnenfrau” at the Leipzig Opera. Anke delighted her audience for two years in “Mein Grand Prix” at the Tipi am Kanzleramt and as Frida in the ABBA show at the Estrel in Berlin. In the world premiere of “The Zauberflöte – Das Musicalshe portrayed the Queen of the Night. Last year, she appeared in “The Popeess” in Füssen and at the Fulda Musical Summer, as well as in “Chicago” at Landestheater .

Most recently, she also released the singles "I Can't Stop Lovin' You," "Rise or Fall," and "Coming Home" under her stage name ANN KEE.

Frank Logemann began his acting career in Cologne, where he initially took on classical roles at various private and municipal theaters.

In addition to his work as a voice actor, he is known for his roles in various ZDF television movies as well as in TV series such as “Großstadtrevier,” “SOKO Köln,” “SOKO Wismar,” “SOKO Hamburg,” “Lindenstraße,” “Unter uns,” and many others.

Ever since his first encounter with the musical genre at the age of 30, Frank has remained devoted to the stage and has taken on numerous leading roles, including the Beast inDie Schöne und das Biest,Die Schöne und das BiestValjean and Thénardier in “Les Misérables,” Frollo in Disney’s “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” Max and Lucheni in “Elisabeth,” Hombre and Santa Maria in “Manitu’s Shoe,” Gus and Old Deuteronomius in “Cats,” Aaron in “The Ten Commandments,” as well as roles in “Madness,” “Hello, Dolly!” (Vandergelder), and “Sherlock Holmes” (Watson). In his adopted home of Hamburg, he has appeared in, among others, “Mamma Mia!” (Sam), “Rocky” (Miles Jergens), “The Miracle of Bern” (Richard/Herberger/Pastor), “Kinky Boots” (Mr. Price), “Pretty Woman” (Mr. Morse/Happy Man), and “Wicked” (Wizard/Dr. Dillamonth). Most recently, Frank Logemann appeared on stage in Zurich as the father in “Billy Elliot”; he also performed in Bonn in “SOS im Paradies,” in Hamburg in “Fisch sucht Fahrrad,” and is currently on tour as Jakob in “Judith—Das Chormusical.”

Rudi Reschke had the opportunity to develop the role of the father and Pope Sergius as early as 2024 in the new production of the bestseller “The Popeess.” He began his stage career 40 years ago and has appeared in over 100 productions since then. He studied in Hanover and Munich, where he earned his degree, as well as in New York and Budapest.

He had his first solo engagements at Staatstheater Badisches Staatstheater , where he performed in international guest productions.

He subsequently appeared, among other roles, at the Theater des Westens in Berlin in “Follies,” “Sweet Charity,” “The Blue Angel,” and “Cyrano de Bergerac”; in Zurich and Berlin in “Cats”; in Vienna in “The Kiss of the Spider Woman”; and as Riff in “West Side Story” in St. Gallen. He also appeared on stage in “Chicago” and “Kiss Me, Kate” (Ettlingen Castle Festival), “Les Misérables,” “Jekyll & Hyde,” and “Titanic” (Bad Hersfeld Festival), as well as in Disney’sDie Schöne und das Biestand “Tarzan.” He played Doolittle in “My Fair Lady,” Perón in “Evita,” Harry in “Flashdance,” and Otto Frank in “Ku’damm ’56.” He also appeared in “Effi Briest” (DEGU Musical Festival in Korea) and in the German-language premiere of the original “Billy Elliot” in Zurich.

His numerous TV roles include parts in the productions “Die Rote Meile,” “Unter Uns,” “Großstadtträume,” “Held der Gladiatoren,” and “Haialarm,” among others.

In addition, he regularly rounds out his work as a director, choreographer, and coach for musicals, films, and events. As a director and producer, he worked with a team to develop the musical “Sherlock Holmes – Next Generation,” which was performed in Hamburg, Munich, and on tour throughout Germany.

Caroline trained as a musical theater performer at the MUK in Vienna. Immediately after completing her studies, she was hired as a soloist at the Theater für Niedersachen in Hildesheim for three seasons. During this time, she appeared in 12 musicals, including as Tracy Samantha Lord in “High Society,” Johanna Barker in “Sweeney Todd,” Sheila in “Hair,” Natalie Goodman in “Next to Normal/Fast Normal,” Victor/Victoria in “Victor/Victoria,” Diana Divane in “Othello Must Not Fail,” and Kate in “The Wild Party.” She then took on a role at the Theater Pforzheim as Jessica in the German premiere of *Shylock*. In 2018, she was cast by spotlight musicals in *Die Päpstin*, *Treasure Island*, and as Agnes Cole in the musical *Der Medicus*, performing at venues including the Schlosstheater Fulda and the Deutsches Theater in Munich.

In 2019, she appeared once again in “The Physician” and “The Popeess,” this time as Gudrun in Fulda. In 2019, she was a prize winner at the 10th International Heinrich Strecker Cross-Over Competition: she won the Musical/Operetta/Viennese Song category and also took home the Audience Award. In 2022, she appeared as Eleonore and understudy for the Abbess in the world premiere of “Robin Hood” at the Schlosstheater Fulda. From 2023 to 2024, she served as the understudy for Rhonda Graam and as a female swing in “Tina – The Tina Turner Musical” at the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart. In 2024, she appeared as Fanny Feifalik in the semi-concert version of “Elisabeth” in front of Schönbrunn Palace and toured China with “Elisabeth” and “Rebecca.” In 2025, she performed at the Fulda Musical Summer, among other venues.

After graduating from the Hamburg School of Entertainment, the native of South Baden appeared, among other roles, as Hodel in “Anatevka,” Minnie Fay in “Hello, Dolly!,” Kate McGowan in “Titanic,” Pamela in “Die Königs vom Kiez,” Jana in “Jana und Janis,” and Sister Maria Amnesia in “Non(n)sens” on stages throughout the German-speaking world.

Johanna also appears time and again in a wide variety of roles at the Brothers Grimm Festival in Hanau—most recently in 2026 as Queen Sirenna in “Snow White.” In 2022, she was even nominated for the German Musical Theater Award for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role as the wicked stepsister Melanie in “Little Brother and Little Sister.”

With her role as Sally Bowles in “Cabaret” in 2024, as a Showman Singer on the “This is the Greatest Show” tour in 2025, her directorial debut with “Vanya” at the Kulisse Eimke in 2026, and her role in “Die Päpstin,” Johanna’s big dreams of the stage came true.

Esther-Larissa began her training at the German Musical Academy in Osnabrück in 2006. This was followed by the productions “Evita,” “The Three Musketeers,” and “West Side Story,” as well as further training in London. She then worked as a vocal soloist on various cruise ships and appeared in the TV documentary series “Verrückt nach Meer.” Back in Germany, she toured with “Saturday Night Fever” (playing Annette/Stephanie). In 2017, she became a permanent member of the ensemble at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg and appeared in productions including “Mamma Mia!”, “Rebecca,” “Les Misérables,” “Spamalot,” “Doctor Zhivago,” “Sister Act,” “The Physician,” and “The Visit.” From 2023 to 2026, she played, among other roles, Josepha Weber in “Mozart!,” Shirley and the cover for Diva in “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert,” the cover for Alice Beane in the musical “Titanic,” and Gloria in “Rocky.” On the cult tour “This Is The Greatest Show,” she appeared, among other roles, as a cover for the soloists.

Her first role took her to Germany for *Dance of the Vampires*. She then went on tour with *Grease*. In Vienna, Raphaela appeared in the hit musicals *Mamma Mia!* (including as Assistant Dance Captain) and *Mozart!* (including as Dance Captain) at the Raimund Theater. She also served as associate choreographer for “Mozart!” in Shanghai and Antwerp.

After that, they brought the two productions “Ghost” and “Hairspray” to the Linz Landestheater. This was followed once again by “Dance of the Vampires,” this time in Vienna and Cologne. She also appeared in Linz in the play “An American in Paris” and at the Thunersee Festival in a new production of “I’ve Never Been to New York” (including as dance captain). At the Graz Opera, she appeared in “Guys and Dolls.”

Most recently, she appeared on stage in the plays "Robin Hood," "Bonifatius," and "Die Päpstin."

Jenny trained at the “Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem” in the Netherlands and in Munich. While there, she appeared in musicals such as “Children of Eden.” Jenny was then hired by the AIDA cruise line. She toured Europe with “Evita,” performed in “Hair” at the National Theater in Mannheim, and went on tour with “The Phantom of the Opera.” Jenny has also appeared in operettas such as “Im weißen Rössl.” She played Karla Kolumna in “Bibi Blocksberg” and toured Germany, Spain, and Dubai with the ABBA show “Dancing Fever.” From 2014 to 2016, Jenny starred in the hit musical “Elisabeth” in China and Austria, among other places, followed by “Treasure Island” and “The Physician” at the Theater Hameln. After a guest appearance in “Die Konferenz der Tiere,” Jenny is currently performing in her 13th musical summer in Fulda (including “Friedrich,” “Bonifatius,” “Robin Hood,” and “Die Päpstin”) and is delighted to be part of the world premiere of “Der Schimmelreiter.”

In addition to appearing in smaller theater productions such as “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” she sang in the Bremen Cathedral Choir, performed in a band, and danced Latin American dances. In 2019, she danced in the “Freak Show” under the direction of Michele Cantanna at the Schlachthof Cultural Center and in the show “Salomé” at the GOP Theater. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Art and Media Campus of HAW Hamburg, among other institutions. From 2022 to October 2024, she played the original cast member of Rose-Granger Weasley in J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” at the Theater am Großmarkt. Afterward, she appeared on stage as Paula in Rolf Zuckowski’s “The Christmas Bakery—The Musical” at Schmidts Tivoli. Since 2021, she has appeared in various campaigns and commercials as a model or supporting actress. Since 2025, she has been a member of the Born2Sing Choir and was part of the opening committee for the 67th Vienna State Opera Ball.

Thomas Christ completed his training at the August Everding Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich and has appeared in productions such as “Dance of the Vampires” (Stuttgart), “Elisabeth” (Essen), and as Jekyll & Hyde (Cologne, Lübeck). He has taken on leading roles in “Les Misérables,” “Evita,” “Chess,” “Rent,” “Sweeney Todd,” “West Side Story,” and “The Magic Flute.” In Fulda, he was part of the original cast of “The Physician” and “Robin Hood”; in Switzerland, he appeared in the world premieres of “The Visit” and “Heidi.” In “Marie Antoinette,” he created the role of Orléans.

Other roles included “The Kiss of the Spider Woman,” “The White Horse Inn,” “Sweet Charity,” “The Comedian Harmonists,” and “Dracula.” In addition to his stage work, he is a certified CVT vocal coach and music educator (B.A.).

Since 2016, he has been a lecturer in voice at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

Florian Karnatz completed his training as a certified musical theater performer from 2021 to 2023 at the Stage School Hamburg. During this time, he appeared on stage at the First Stage Theater as a soloist in the “Grand Christmas Show,” as Travis in “Footloose,” and as Joey in “Sister Act.” In 2023, he was part of the ensemble and served as the cover for Alex and Jürgen in the world premiere of the PUR musical “Abenteuerland” at the Capitol Theater in Düsseldorf. In 2025, the world’s greatest love story beckoned: Florian joined the cast of “Romeo & Juliet – Love Is Everything” at the Theater des Westens in Berlin as a swing, cover for Lord Capulet, and cover for Tybalt. In 2026, he toured Germany and Austria with the musical “Sister Act” as Clemont, cover for Curtis Jackson, cover for Joey, and cover for Monsignor O’Hara. With the production “Die Päpstin,” Florian is making his debut with spotlight musicals and is very much looking forward to becoming part of this story.

The Saarland native completed his training at the Stage School in Hamburg and appeared in various character roles even while he was still a student (“Ritter Rost,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Die Kinder,” and many more). After “Anything Goes” at the NT Mannheim, Toby set sail on the world’s oceans as a soloist with the AIDA show ensemble, performing in over 60 different shows over the course of 7 years. In 2014, he took on a walk-in cover role in Disney’s “The Lion King” (Timon, Zazu, Ed) and then, in 2017, became the lead actor playing Timon. The unique experience of working with the puppets was incredibly enriching.

After nine years in the savanna, Toby sought the shade of Sherwood and took over the role of Baron de Vesci in Fulda, Munich, Hamelin, Zurich, Berlin, and Linz in “Robin Hood – The Musical.” In 2024 and 2025, he also appeared in the new production of “The Popeess” in Fulda and Hamelin. Most recently, he also appeared on stage in “Ladies Night” in Fürth.

While still pursuing his Master of Arts degree at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich, Ömer Örgey appeared on stage as a sketch character in “Hairspray” in Nuremberg, as Antonio in “Twelfth Night,” and as Sir Harry in “Once Upon a Mattress” in Munich. In 2024, he made his debut with spotlight musicals in Fulda as part of the ensemble in “Die Päpstin” and also appeared in “Bonifatius” on the Domplatz stage. He then moved to the Theater für Niedersachsen, where he played Ned Ryerson in “Groundhog Day,” Anthony Hope in “Sweeney Todd,” King Leodegranz in “Arthur—The Young King,” Anselmo in “Man of La Mancha,” Tonio in “The Gifted Horse,” Herbert Pitman and Henry Etches in “Titanic,” the Boxer in “Animal Farm,” and Lars Röder in “Voices in My Head.” Ömer is extremely excited to be part of the spotlight family again in 2026 as part of the production of “The Popeess.”

A native of Stuttgart, he completed his training as a musical theater actor at the Stage School Hamburg and, even while still a student, appeared as Lurch in “The Addams Family.” Over the course of his career, he has appeared on stage in musicals such as “Carrie” and “The Jungle Book.”

Robin also played Mouthpiece, Snowboy, and Baby John in various productions of “West Side Story” and was a swing in “GHOST” and “Tarifzone Liebe.”

In Fulda, Robin took over as the evening show director and served as the understudy for Baron de Vesci in “Robin Hood” for spotlight musicals.

Robin played his first leading role at the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen as Jacob Marley in “A Christmas Carol” alongside Felix Martin, and went on tour as Muffin in “The Christmas Bakery” for Schmidts Tivoli.

Robin regularly works as a resident or associate director for Christoph Drewitz and Matthias Davids. In Hamburg, he teaches young talent at the Stage up! Musical School.

Steven studied at Oklahoma City University and went on to play Rocky in *Damn Yankees*—including on the Broadway National Tour and in the West End—as well as in the *Radio City Christmas Spectacular* in New York.

His engagements in Europe included “Cats” (Hamburg), “Starlight Express” (Bochum), “Elisabeth” (Theater an der Wien), “Romeo & Juliet,” “Ich war noch niemals in New York” (Raimund Theater), “Gayle Tufts Rockt!” and “Some Like It Hot!” (Berlin), “Cabaret” (Hansa Theater Hamburg), and the world premiere of “Saving Mozart” at the Musicalfrühling Gmunden festival. Under the direction of Kim Duddy, he played the title roles in “Tommy” and “Jesus Christ Superstar,” among others.

He served as a choreographic assistant on the feature film *Im weißen Rössl* as well as the productions *The Wiz* (Landestheater ), *We Are Musical* (Raimund Theater), *La Cage aux Folles*, *Carmen Cubana*, *The Jungle Book*, and *The Merry Widow* (Zurich Opera).

Marc graduated from the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg and has since played many roles, including Rosa from Rüsselsheim in *La Cage aux Folles*, Arthur Holmwood in *Dracula*, Artie Green in *Sunset Boulevard*, Rochefort in *The Three Musketeers*, Ramon in *Zorro*, and Magaldi in *Evita*. He has also appeared in “Man of La Mancha” andRocky Horror Showas well as in the world premiere of “Forbidden Fruits” at the Theater am Puls.

He has been performing at Festspielhaus since 2020. There, he has appeared in various roles in “Ludwig²,” as the Beast inDie Schöne und das Biest,” as Count Ferdinand in “Zeppelin,” and as Prince André in “Cinderella.”

Most recently, Marc appeared at Festspielhaus and the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen as Walk-In Scrooge and Walk-In Marley inDer Geist der Weihnachtas well as in the musical “The Popeess” in Fulda and Hamelin.

Veronica Appeddu completed her training as a musical theater performer in 2012 at the Bernstein School of Musical Theater in Bologna, Italy. She subsequently appeared in various leading roles in Italy: Wendla in “Spring Awakening,” Eponine in “Les Misérables,” Jenny in “Love Story,” Mary Robert in “Sister Act,” and Maria in “West Side Story.”

After her debut as Sarah in “Dance of the Vampires,” she appeared in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland as Olivia in “Matterhorn,” Young Gloria in “On Your Feet,” Frenchy in “Grease,” a circus girl in “Circus Princess,” Mona in “Chicago,” Soul Girl and Dance Captain in “Jesus Christ Superstar,” Linda, a cover club singer, and Flo in “Saturday Night Fever,” as well as in the ensemble of “Bonifatius,” “Spamalot,” “The Producers,” and “Catch Me If You Can.”

In addition to her musical theater career, she starred in the Argentine TV series “Señales del fin del mundo”

and is a passionate soul and jazz singer.

At the age of 9, Sofia was already singing in the children’s choir of the Teatro Regio Torino and performing in operas and concerts. After training as a dancer and musical theater performer in Milan, she was hired by the Cologne Chamber Opera for productions such as “Hello, Dolly!”, “My Fair Lady,” and “Ball at the Savoy”—where she already served as dance captain and a Tangolita. This was followed by engagements at the Neue Eutiner Festspielbühne in “Kiss Me, Kate!”, “Cabaret,” and “La Cage aux Folles,” as well as at the Theater Dortmund in “Grease” (as the cover for Cha-Cha).

In 2024, she will serve as co-choreographer for the world premiere of “Showtime!” Over the past two years, she has appeared with spotlight musicals in “Die Päpstin” and as part of the ensemble in “Robin Hood.” This will be followed by another engagement as a dancer at the Aalto Theater in Essen. She is currently appearing in both roles—as a swing and dance captain in “Die Päpstin” and as part of the ensemble in “Rebecca” at the Theater Dortmund.

Robert Schmelcher has performed at numerous renowned theaters in German-speaking countries, including the Staatstheater Gärtnerplatz, the Stage Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, the Theater St. Gallen, and the Bad Hersfeld Festival. His most notable roles include Erwin Bach in “TINA – The Tina Turner Musical,” Artie Green in “Sunset Boulevard,” Jacob Marley in “A Christmas Carol,” Baron Fitzwalter in “Robin Hood – The Musical,” and Anastasius inDie Päpstin – Das Musical.” As a showman singer, he appeared in “This Is The Greatest Show.”

Other productions include “Evita,” “West Side Story,” “Chess,” “Hair,” “Fame,” “La Cage aux Folles,” and “Hello, Dolly!” Most recently, he appeared on stage in Hamburg as Professor Callahan in the musical “Legally Blonde.”

Born in Switzerland, he gained his first singing experience with the Lucerne Boys’ Choir, where he discovered his passion for dance and acting at an early age. At the age of 18, he began studying musical theater at the IFM Osnabrück. Even while still a student, he appeared on stage in several productions—including at the Theater Osnabrück as Etches in “Titanic” and as Piccolo in “Im weißen Rössl,” as part of the ensemble in “Soho Cinderella” at the Ettlingen Castle Festival, and in “Die Päpstin” at the Fulda Castle Theater. In the fall of 2024, he was part of the world premiere of “Der 35. Mai” at the Theater Bremen. At the Summer Festival in Eutin, he played the Snow Boy in “West Side Story.” In the spring of 2026, he appeared on stage at the Bühnen Bern in a production of “Jesus Christ Superstar.” The following year, he will return to Bern, this time in the play “My Fair Lady.”
